MLB returns to Iowa
On hiatus since 2023, the MLB Field of Dreams game returned in fashion with the Phillies playing the Twins yesterday at the iconic field in Dyersville, Iowa. The only downside to the return of the game is that it streamed live on Netflix, leaving fans without a subscription unable to watch it.
To commemorate the game, Topps Now has produced a card with a synopsis of the game:
The MLB at Field of Dreams game happened again at the legendary cornfields of Dyersville, Iowa, for a third time, hosting the Philadelphia Phillies and Minnesota Twins. The Phillies, on the back of two Kyle Schwarber homers and a strong outing by Aaron Nola, took care of business for a 7-1 win. “Beautiful field, beautiful scenery, fans were great,” Nola said postgame.
